Our recruitment procedure is on-going and we have no set age limit. 

What we look for in our apprentices

  • Positive attitude.

  • A passion and drive to develop a long-term career with us.
     

  • Minimum of 3 GCSE's Grade C, or grade 4 in the new grading system, or above in English, Maths and Science. 
     

  • The ability to carry out physical work
     

  • Good social skills, preferably experience of working with others.

  • Capable to work independently.

  • Good organisational and time keeping skills.

  • A full clean driving license is desirable.

The recruitment process

  • Review CV's

  • Long list the candidates.

  • Attend an interview at our office.

  • Review and shortlist.

  • The successful candidates will then be contacted and asked to attend an induction.

  • ECS tests to obtain or renew your ECS or CSCS card

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation

  • Normally takes three or four years to complete 

  • Attend college for formal qualification 

  • Our apprentices attend Walsall College, Dudley College or Birmingham Electrical Training 

  • You will be expected to complete extra studies and NVQ evidence outside standard college hours
